The next 8 blogs will be dedicated to the beautiful non-profit leaders that attended Soul Care this past weekend in Vail, Colorado. Megan, a gifted writer and dear friend, documented their stories while I captured their pictures. Megan will be sharing about each of these women and their incredible missions.
Megan would love to hear your story. Send her some love.
First of the group to join us for a photoshoot, Jenny set the tone for our time with these incredible women.
And what was the tone?
Pee-your-pants humor, free-spirited, totally-up-for-anything, open your soul to the lens kind of freedom.
It’s fitting for a woman who oversees teenagers pulled out of slavery from United States sex trade.
Sara’s Home is a safe home for underage victims of human trafficking in Colorado. Jenny helps with operations and advocates on behalf of the home and the girls it serves. It operates as a foster home, but is the first model of its kind.
Jenny and her husband have worked diligently and patiently to help the development of the home, and we feel that it could be a catalyst for similar places all across the United States!
We also feel that we need to brag about Jenny. Like, right now.
Jenny is comfortable in her own skin, and is strong enough to simply laugh at life. She made the day so fun for us, and we love that about her. We were honored to capture her spunk and beauty, especially because so often, the world works to steal those cores from the human spirit.
Thank you Jenny for keeping your fun, light-hearted and passionate advocacy ablaze for so many yet to be rescued and healed from a life of sex slavery.
You rock, girl!
