Kimba Langas :: Free The Girls {Soul Care}

I had the honor of attending a Soul Care retreat in Vail, Colorado. Megan, a gifted writer and dear friend, documented their stories while I captured their pictures. Megan will be sharing about each of these women and their incredible missions.

Megan would love to hear your story. Send her some love.

Fierce. Strong. Tenacious. Talented.

Freaking hilarious.

Former producer and director for news and production companies, this woman is making a splash in the media world.

…In a whole new way.

Meet Kimba, Co-Founder of Free the Girls, a nonprofit that provides job opportunities for survivors of sex trafficking. They collect gently used bras and donate them to women as starting inventory for their own business selling the bras.

Free the Girls dreams big. Their creativity, ambition and desire to end slavery has received National attention. Watch CNN’s Freedom Project on FTGs, Mozambique or Bust.”

Kimba, also known as “Kimbala”, has sacrificed much to see this dream fulfilled. Her constant humility, wisdom and humor inspire all who come in contact with her.

Just as the images portray…this woman is not afraid to get her hands dirty.:)

Thank you Kimbala for showing us how to dream beyond what we think is possible and never letting any obstacle come in the way. We are humbled and honored to have captured your strength and dignity. You are beautiful.
