This ceremony was full of depth and emotion. It perfectly portrayed the authenticity and compassionate hearts of Sarah and Thomas.
The air was sweet, filled with the warmth of a Minnesota summer day.
I could feel the excitement and tension from the audience as they awaited Sarah’s presence. There was a moment during the ceremony where I didn’t turn without seeing someone wiping a tear. It’s clear Sarah and Thomas are enriched by a community that loves them dearly.
I was honored to be able to photograph this dear couple and their love story.
Sarah and Thomas, you two are a perfect fit and it is so evident you were born to meet and fall in love. I was delighted to be a part of your wonderful day.
Images shot by yours truly and by the lovely Elle Chase (images coming soon of my talented new photo intern)!
A gift by his grandfather.
Two sisters’ reactions from a kiss that was not so PG rated.
Tying of the rope ceremony- symbolizing the strength of 3 strands that isn’t easily broken.
The vase was filled with sand by the family members and bridal party committing to support and love Thomas and Sarah.
“Oh Sarah darling please, allow me to sweep you off your feet.” Song written by her groom. It was safe to say Sarah was swept off her feet.
